How it works?
Summer Projects are internships that take place in August, lasting one to three weeks.
As a provider, you will:
- Offer a project opportunity to Teach First trainees and ambassadors
- Manage the recruitment process, including:
- Receiving applications
- Shortlisting candidates
- Conducting interviews
- Making offers and providing feedback (if requested)
Application process and support
Providers manage their own applications and should specify how interns can apply - via an online form (recommended) or by email with a CV and cover letter.
We offer guidance on project design, promotion to trainees and ambassadors, and ongoing support to ensure a smooth process.

We have always had such a positive experience working with Teach First. The quality of candidates has been excellent and it is a pleasure having such smart, motivated and curious individuals with us for the summer.
