An Introduction to Teach First in the Midlands & East of England

Webinar for career changers and young professionals who want to find out more about changing career and gaining qualified teacher status (QTS) with Teach First in the East of England, the East Midlands and the West Midlands.

In these regions, we work with schools in a range of communities from Stoke to Solihull, Clacton-on-Sea to Norwich, Northampton to Nottingham and in between – including areas near Luton, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Peterborough, Leicester, Derby, Dudley and Wolverhampton.

Since 2003, we’ve been improving the life chances and choices for children experiencing poverty.

We train talented teachers and equip school leaders working in some of the poorest areas of the country to give children with the fewest opportunities access to a great education.

During this session, you’ll:

  • learn about how our Training Programme works
  • find out more about training with us in those communities
  • get your questions answered by coaches who support trainees on our programme

In a nutshell, you’ll earn a salary, gain fully funded QTS and PGCE and benefit from in-school training with a comprehensive support network.

We know becoming a teacher is a big choice and there are plenty of options.

Join our webinar to learn why Teach First and joining our 16,000 community could be the best route for you.

We’ve already received many applications and so we're starting to fill for areas including business, early years, history and primary. Come along to avoid disappointment.

If you cannot make the event but would like to learn more, please reach out to Sumayya at sshaikh@teachfirst.org.uk
