All children have big dreams. But not every child gets the chance to make them a reality.
Our education system is failing too many children from disadvantaged backgrounds. They don’t start with the same chances as their wealthier peers and this inequality continues throughout childhood, putting their future at risk.
Did you know that today 4 million children in the UK live in poverty? That’s 4 million children who are far less likely to leave school with the skills, knowledge and opportunities they need to succeed in the world. It’s not their fault and it isn’t fair.

Schools are doing all that they can to tackle this inequality, while working tirelessly in the face of huge challenges. They need you.
We need to raise more than £7 million over the next 3 years. But we can’t do it alone.
With your support, we’ll work with teachers and school leaders to transform the schools facing the toughest challenges – placing great teachers where they’re needed most, helping leadership teams thrive and growing strong networks of diverse expertise to create real, lasting change. We’ve got a lot left to do, with not much time to do it.
The children we work with live in the margins of our society. They visit foodbanks and their lives are difficult, but they're here on time, every day, working hard. It's through no fault of their own, or their parents. They deserve so much more from us.
