Earn a competitive salary
Start your teaching career with financial stability. There are no tuition fees to pay. And you'll earn a salary from day one in the classroom.
Starting salary: Over £20k in your first year, rising to £30k in your second year (depending on location).
Future potential: After the programme, salaries could reach £56,959 in inner London or £46,525 elsewhere, based on your career progression.
Eligibility requirements
An undergraduate degree: Typically, a 2:1 or above, though a 2:2 is considered for secondary roles.
GCSEs: Grade C/4 or higher in GCSE maths and English (or equivalent).
Additional requirement for primary teaching: Grade C/4 in a science subject.
Right to work in the UK: You must have the legal right to work in the UK for the entire duration of the programme. Teach First does not provide visas.
